Description

Winston is a large crossbreed who is sadly looking for a new home due to a change in the owners circumstances.

He is a friendly lad who loves a run around our off lead paddock and is very playful. 😀

He is a super intelligent boy who is keen to learn new tricks and is eager to please (especially if there are treats on offer!) 😋

Once he knows you, he is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than having cuddles and curling up with you on the sofa. 🥰

Winston is a large boy and of course can be strong so he needs someone who can physically manage him should he decide to pull in different direction. During his time here with us which is almost two years now 💔we have introduced walking aids that make him much easier to manage and a pleasure to walk. 😊

Winston can walk well alongside other calm dogs here at the shelter, however he doesn’t appreciate dogs in his personal space and can react if another dog is barking at him, so we are looking to home him as the only dog and pet in the home.

Winston seems to have had some previous trauma with children as it really is apparent how uncomfortable he is around them.  Because of this, we are looking to place Winston in an adult only home with no visiting children and with owners who won’t typically encounter children in their day to day lives.
