This is River – She is a medium sized girl of around 10 years old who is looking for a new home after being handed in as a stray, and nobody came to collect her.

She is proving to be fine around other dogs and friendly with everyone she has met so far. She loves to be out and about exploring our enrichment paddock and pottering up the lane.

We would love River to be able to find someone to love her, and a home to call her own….. Please can you help?

As she has an unknown history, we cannot rehome her with young children.

Although she is fine to walk with other dogs, she does like her own space for snoozes and relaxing, so we would like to place her as an only dog.

She is untested with cats.
