Poor Nellie is looking for a home after finding herself in the stray kennels and she remains unclaimed.
She is a very nervous but sweet girl of around 18 months to 2 years old.
She is beginning to come out of her shell a little and show how loving , gentle and sweet she is, but she is still very fearful of new people and will cower and hide herself away – even though you can see how much she wants to be loved.
With the staff she now knows here , she will now enjoy a play in the paddock and interacts beautifully, and she has even started to be brave enough to get herself harnessed up and now enjoys exploring down our lane.
She appears to love dogs as she becomes all giddy and excited to see them, but she is not confident enough for them to approach her at the moment and she shies away from closer contact. She loves to walk alongside them however đŸ™‚
We are looking for a home who would be willing to give her the time she needs to get to know them and accept their love and contact when she feels comfortable.
She may be suitable to live with a calm, gentle dog who may help her to gain confidence.
As she is very nervous and with an unknown history, we are not able to place her with children.
