Description

This is  Luna. She is an 18 month Rhodesian Ridgeback cross who is looking for her new humans to love as her owner was struggling to look after her due to ill health.

Luna can be a little nervous of new people initially but once she feels secure in your company, she is super loving and affectionate and really looks to you for guidance and support .

She is a ball of energy once she gets going and can be boisterous and unaware of her size and strength. Luna just wants to be loved, and to please you, even if she unintentionally gets it wrong sometimes.

Luna is not suitable to live with young children, simply due to her boisterous nature. However, we would rehome her with older, dog savvy children.

Luna can be overbearing in the presence of other dogs. However we have been working on this and she is learning to interact well with other dogs subject to the right mix of temperament and control measures.

She would be better as an only dog where she can learn to bond with her family and learn to be a calm adult dog in her own right.

We are keen to find Luna her new family as she really needs to find security and a loving bond.
