Description

Freya came to us through another rescue after her time spent their looking for a new home was unsuccessful.  She is originally from Romania and is very timid and shy with new people and in new environments.

It takes a while for her to build trust with a new people but once she does, her quirky character begins to shine through.

Freya loves a play in our offlead enrichment paddock where she likes to explore, have a roll around and pop over to you for treats and a short bit of interaction before she toddles off again to do her own thing.

She likes routine and doesn’t like to be put under pressure to venture beyond her comfort zone so any changes will need to be handled gently and with lots of patience.

Freya is making slow progress with being walked outside the boundaries of the shelter where she feels comfortable – She will accept a harness and lead, and she has been part way up our lane, but should anything spook her, this does set her back and takes time to rebuild back up again.

She needs a home with someone who is very experienced and has owned similar dogs before to be able to give her the space she needs but also the support.  She is not suitable to be rehomed with children but she may be suitable to live with another calm dog subject to the right match and successful meet and greets.
