Meet Della 🖤
Della is a 3 and a half year old Giant Schnoodle who has sadly found herself in need of a new home after her owner was no longer able to care for her. 😞
She is a little overwhelmed at the moment with kennel life and we are still getting to know her, but she seems really sweet natured and loves the company of people.🥰
Her previous owner said that she is really affectionate, bouncy and playful once she fully trusts you and relaxes. ☺️
She is quite vocal when she sees other dogs, but she can walk nicely alongside some dogs once the initial excitement has subsided.
She did briefly go out on trial with another dog but we discovered she isn’t always a fan of other dogs being in her personal space and because of this, we are looking to place her as an only dog.
She is a large girl who can be reasonably strong on the lead and she will need someone who will be able to manage her physically and can give her the time needed for training and adjustment. This is something that can be worked on once she has a good bond with someone and we think that in the right home Della will make a wonderful, loyal companion. 🩷
Della would not be suitable for a first time dog owner and we are looking for someone with previous dog experience and breed experience would be a huge bonus!
She has never lived with children and due to her nervous nature, we would only look to place her in a home with dog savvy children over 12 years.
She is untested with cats and small animals.
