Chowie

Poor Chowie has been through the mill πŸ™ He has come into our care via the stray system and he really was in a sorry old state.
His coat was so matted, it was pulling on his skin making him sooooo sore and uncomfortable – As you can see, the only option was for his body to be completely shaved and he will now get the chance to allow his skin to heal, and to regrow a healthy coat.
He had such a bad entropion that his eyes were shut. He was in a lot of discomfort and his eyesight may have been permenantly damaged as a result of his lack of care πŸ™
The good news is that he has now begun his surgery journey to correct all of his issues and he loves to show himself off in his dapper new jumpers which will help to keep him warm in the colder weather until his beautiful coat can return.
Chowie is still only a young lad, at around 2-3 years old, and despite his terrible state, temperament wise, he couldn’t be better. He is such a trusting, ,loving lad, who has the cutest little excited bunny hops . He is learning to walk around with his current limited sight and is taking life and what it now has to offer with full enthusiasm.
If you would like to donate towards the treatment for Chowie, we would be grateful as always for donations via our paypal :
