Meet Chief and Zig 😍

These handsome boys are Rottweiler crosses of around 9 and 7 months of age.

Their lives so far have been very sheltered and they haven’t yet had chance to discover the outside world.  As a result, they are very nervous and as you can imagine are a little shell shocked after leaving all they ever knew and coming into the unfamiliar kennel environment. 😔

Despite this, after only having them in our care for a number of days, we are starting to see little glimpses of personality coming through and they are proving to be very sweet natured, affectionate boys.  Although their confidence is currently holding them back, it is clear that they are so desperate to interact with us and it will only be a matter of time before they begin to relax and trust us.

Chief and Zig are still under assessment and over the coming days and weeks we will begin to assess how they respond to different things, including how they interact with other dogs and we can get a better idea of what sort of home they will be best suited to. 🙂

We will be looking for separate homes for Chief and Zig, with people that have owned dogs previously.  They will need understanding homes that can offer them the time, patience, training and care that these boys need to become well rounded dogs.
