Bertie & Liberty

Bertie and Liberty came into our care after sadly being picked up as strays together.

They were in a terrible state when they were found, their coats were incredibly matted and it was clear that they had been either straying for some time or had been kept in poor conditions and not cared for by a pevious owner.

They have now been checked over by our vet and had all of their matted hair clipped off  and they are feeling much better for it 😃

We believe Bertie (Cream) is a Labradoodle and Liberty (Black) is a Cockerpoo.

They are both very timid and it took quite some time for them to begin to trust us and know that we are here to help 🥰 they are already proving to be very sweet natured and they enjoy the company of people.

Bertie and Liberty have a close bond and we are really hoping that we can find them a home together 😊

Due to their unknown background and shy nature, we feel they would be better suited to a calm, quiet home with no young children.  We want them to be given the time and patience they need to start to grow in confidence and be in the right environment to be able to do this.

We haven’t done too much wit them up to now as we haven’t wanted to overwhelm them but they seem to be positively interested in other dogs when they have been out so they may be able to live with another dog(s) dependant on successful meet and greets.

They are untested with cats.
