Meet our little sweetheart Millie 💕

Millie is a wire-haired dachshund of around 8 years old who is sadly looking for a new home after her owner passed away. 😢

She is a really sweet girl who is desperately missing her home comforts. 😣

She is currently a little over weight and does require some lump removals which we will get sorted once she’s in a bit better shape and fitter to cope with an anaesthetic. ☺️  The lumps will need to be sent off for histology to ensure they are nothing concerning so any potential adopter would need to be aware of this and understand that we do not yet know what exactly the lumps are.  Because it may take her a while to loose some weight, we were hoping that someone may give her a chance and that she wouldn’t need to spend the time before her op alone in kennels. 😓

We are looking for a quiet, calm home for this girl where she can enjoy the rest of her years in comfort with plenty of love and kisses. 😘

As far as we are aware, she has never been around children and because of this we will only consider homes with older children 12+ years.

She did previously live with another female dog, however we understand that they didn’t always get along so we feel it may be best to rehome her as an only dog. However, we wouldn’t completely rule out rehoming her with a calm, mature male dog, dependent on successful meet and greets. 🐶
