Duchess

Duchess came into us as a stray, someone had kindly taken her in until they could find her a rescue space.  Whilst in the home, her carers described her as a wonderful cat with a calm undemanding nature but also full of character. She is not destructive as she is a regular visitor to her scratching pole!   She loves a little play with her mouse on a string and will also play ball with you. Duchess has a very affectionate side and although doesn’t really climb on your lap always likes to lay down next to you on the sofa for most of the evening having a snooze or watching television.

Since being here at the centre though duchess has found it very difficult to adjust to her new environment and is incredibly stressed.  Due to this, she has not been particularly friendly with our staff or volunteers but we are hoping with time this will settle down.  Due to this we feel she would be best suited to an adult only home with no children or other animals and with plenty of cat experience.
