Evie is a sassy little lady who has a quirky personality.  She is currently a little overweight but surprisingly has bundles of energy and can be pretty quick when she wants to be! Although she is sometimes reluctant to walk but we think this is because she is quite fed up here and is feeling a little down.  From what we have seen from her time here at the kennels, all she wants is a quiet home where she can be free to explore things at her own pace and do her own thing.  Evie does take a particular liking/disliking to certain people and we feel that she would be better suited to a quiet home with maybe one owner so that she can build a strong one on one bond.  If she likes you, she has plenty of love to give and loves your company.

Evie originally came into us back in January 2018 with another dog called Rex who she had lived with from being very young, they sadly came in due to a family bereavement.  Evie and Rex were in the kennels for quite a few months before they found a home together and initially everything was fine but after a few months they found that Evie was being quite dominant towards Rex and had started to get a little grumpy with her female owner when she tried to handle her.  However, she absolutely adored her male owner and was never grouchy with him.
